Tell us about yourself
I have been a lawyer since 1999. I founded AddVANTE Economistas y Abogados S.L.P, now integrated into Baker Tilly, where I am a partner and co-responsible for the legal area. I am passionate about law, especially providing imaginative and creative solutions in complex matters. I completed my legal education with a master's in legal and tax advisory and another in financial accounting and balance sheets.
Over the last twenty years of my profession, I have been involved in matters of various disciplines, especially those related to commercial areas, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, insolvency, corporate governance, and contracting, as well as business operations with national and international tax implications. I am also an expert in legal advice on real estate and urban planning, specializing in transactions, project financing, and the creation of vehicles for real estate investments.
I am a member of the Illustrious Barcelona Bar Association, the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors, and I am registered in the Ministry of Justice as a Concursal and Mercantile Mediator and in several judicial districts as a Concursal Administrator. In recent years, I have been awarded in the Best Lawyers and Legal 500 directories.
Currently, I co-direct the legal area of Baker Tilly, which includes commercial law, tax planning, labor, procedural real estate, and insolvency.
How do you think these last few years have influenced the way of working?
The evolution of technology has changed all our work and professional patterns, from the way we work to the place of work, as well as the way we relate to our professional environment. For me, the most important thing is the ability to adapt and take advantage of the new means at our disposal.
What does Baker Tilly mean to you?
Continuing to learn, building a common project, and being able to provide our clients with access to multidisciplinary and global services.
