Tell us about yourself
I am currently a lawyer, partner and head of legal at Baker Tilly Abogados. I am a member of the board of directors of Baker Tilly Iberia, acting as director and secretary. At the international level, I represent the International Business Leader (IBL) role and am responsible for channelling both inbound and outbound opportunities in relation to legal services.
Since 2014, I have been part of the Legal Steering Committee of which I am a founding member and which allows us to play an active role in the creation and consolidation of Baker Tilly's international legal network.
How do you think these last few years have influenced the way you work?
In my case, I don't see the new dynamics as something negative, quite the contrary, as it allows, among other things, to be much more efficient when developing our advisory functions for our clients, as well as offering flexibility and conciliation policies to our teams.
What advice would you give to someone starting out in their career?
Each person is different and has their own values and interests, but from my point of view the most important thing in the first years (and in general during the whole professional career), apart from not losing the desire to train, is to have a very open mind and the ability and willingness to soak up everything that professional practice in a law firm entails.
