Tell us about yourself
I am a lawyer with more than twenty years of experience in the practice of commercial law, advising companies both nationally and internationally.
I specialise in company law, mergers and acquisitions, as well as corporate restructurings and shareholder agreements.
I currently act as secretary of several companies and advise on the implementation of ESG and criminal compliance and prevention models for commercial companies, cooperatives and non-profit organisations.
I am also an expert in negotiating commercial contracts and have advised on numerous real estate transactions.
I have been a member of the team at AddVANTE Economistas y Abogados, S.L.P. since 2001, where I am a partner and currently head the Commercial Department, and I am a member of the firm's Compliance Committee.
You have been a recognised lawyer in Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions by Best Lawyers since 2013.
How do you think these last few years have influenced the way you work?
The pandemic and new technologies have brought about an important change in the way we work, incorporating mobility and the possibility of working anywhere and at any time. On the other hand, the market is becoming increasingly competitive, which implies greater specialisation in order to differentiate yourself and offer higher quality.
What do you value most in your day-to-day work?
A good working environment is fundamental when working in a team to achieve a good result and reach the objectives. In addition, it is important to train and keep up to date and have the necessary tools and resources to carry out our work properly.
