Tell us about yourself
Since 2017, I am part of Baker Tilly and I develop my activity mainly in the area of Financial Advisory Services where we carry out financial advisory work in Due Diligence, Business Valuations, Forensic and Business Review Reports and other financial modelling projects.
How do you think these last few years have influenced the way you work?
The evolution in the so-called workplace or way of working has had a significant impact on our profession. The undesirable pandemic has accelerated a process of change in the work model that seemed difficult to achieve due to the inertias of society. Our usual approach to work, as independent professionals working on a project basis, has been able to take hold for good.
Efficient time management, offshoring and a focus on results rather than time worked is a fact of life in the sector, there is no longer any room for discussion. Today no one would understand the investment in 4 hours of travel time and the corresponding expenses to hold a project kick-off meeting. We have gained time and efficiency.
What do you value most in your day-to-day work and being part of Baker Tilly?
Being part of Baker Tilly is fundamental for me. It gives me a compass to follow a line of a plan that I share with other professionals. I feel part of a team and it helps me to think that I can offer any service because in my Firm I am sure that there is someone who can carry it out with complete professionalism.
