Tell us about yourself
I have been an auditor and auditor of accounts since 2001, I have a degree in Law and I am currently an audit partner in the firm. I have dedicated my working life to auditing since I started in the family company founded by my father in 1981, until today. In this process I have acquired knowledge of all the departments and roles of the company, and I have worked in very different clients, giving me a global strategic vision at all levels.
Currently, as an audit partner, I supervise and sign the projects I am in charge of. I am also in charge of continuous training for the auditors. I represent the firm at universities and maintain contact with students who are interested in training as auditors.
How do you think these last few years have influenced the way you work?
Digitalization allows us to be continuously connected from anywhere. We are immersed in a new revolution caused by Artificial Intelligence that will change the way we work, audit and live.
What do you value most in your day-to-day work and being part of Baker Tilly?
What I like most about my job is the contact with people and being able to know first-hand the processes implemented by the different audited companies. Also, knowing that the content of our audit report is going to be key in the decisions taken by the companies encourages me to maintain the objective of improvement and personal growth.
