Tell us about yourself
My work experience has been almost exclusively at Audalia, now part of Baker Tilly, after some previous experience closely linked to technology and professional services in Spain and England. I studied an MBA at Saint Louis University.
I am a partner in the People Innovation area, where we have been assisting large companies in the digitalisation of their HR processes for 20 years.
How do you think these last few years have influenced the way you work?
As a former basketball player and coach, I am a great believer in the word ‘team’ and I am one of those who think that, although it is true that the dynamics of recent years have led to a lot of telecommuting, with its advantages and disadvantages, it is also true that it is more difficult to build teams and help develop them from a distance. I believe that there is virtue in the middle ground, helping employees to reconcile but also encouraging them to be part of a team.
What advice would you give to someone starting their career?
I saw recently in networks an athlete who after every match writes “Have Faith”. Just that: if you have faith in yourself, with perseverance, continuous development and work you can achieve almost anything.
