Conducting interviews for audit firms I finally came across Dani and Alberto (partners at Baker Tilly Levante). I started working with them in January 2015.
How do you think these last few years have influenced the way you work?
Auditing has always been characterized by a job in which a great dedication of hours is required, mainly because of the concentration of work in the first half of the fiscal year. And remote work was not considered to be very effective.
After the pandemic, it has been shown that a hybrid model (physical presence and telecommuting) is just as effective as a 100% face-to-face model. From my point of view, being physically at the client brings more agility for the completion of projects on time. However, a day or two of teleworking allows, possibly, to be just as effective and agile, in addition to having the ability to make a greater reconciliation of work and family life.
What do you value most about your day-to-day life and being part of Baker Tilly?
From Baker Tilly I would value the people that make up the firm. I consider that it is formed by great professionals capable of developing any type of project and training people without experience to turn them into great professionals as well. In addition to the globality that Baker Tilly represents due to its national and international presence, capable of covering and satisfying the needs of the clients.
