The Expansion report reveals that the annual ranking provides data on the combined growth and billings of the top forty professional services firms during fiscal 2022. These firms offer a wide range of services, including auditing, consulting, legal and tax advice, as well as transactions. Together, these firms achieved a total turnover of €3,805 million in fiscal 2022, representing an increase of 7.8% over the previous year.

In 2021, historic highs in jobs and billing were reached, and these achievements are expected to be surpassed in 2022, according to Ferrán Rodríguez, president of the ICJCE. Additionally, he regrets the recent reform of the Audit Law, which allows auditors to extend their contracts up to 20 years, something he considers harmful to the sector.
