Environment as a pillar of the sustainability strategy
Instead of considering it as a problem or simply complying with current legislation, organizations are incorporating the environment as a key pillar of their sustainability strategy.
Traditionally, the concept of sustainability has been associated with the environment. We have already commented that this approach is not correct. A sustainability strategy does not only involve managing environmental impacts, but also social and governance impacts. However, it is true that more and more organizations are prioritizing the reduction of their environmental impact throughout the entire life cycle of a product/service.
